If you have domestic hand-baggage only, proceed to the domestic departure gate a minimum of 20 minutes prior to flight departure. Otherwise, proceed to Proflight check-in counters which close 50 minutes (international out of South Africa) or 40 minutes (international out of Zambia) or 30 minutes (domestic within Zambia) before departure. |

FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Tickets issued by Proflight: Please check your e-ticket or Itinerary for details of your free baggage allowance. Please note that baggage allowances are dependent on the fare class of your booking; if you are travelling on a return ticket the free baggage allowance may not be the same for both flights.
Tickets issued by another Airline: If your ticketed journey includes flights on another airline the baggage allowance of the international airline will usually apply. However, there are exceptions so please check your ticket for baggage allowance. |

BUY EXTRA BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE ONLINE
Save money and time at the airport by purchasing additional 15 kg excess baggage bundles online at www.flyzambia.com and offices; this fee is non-refundable and only available up to four hours prior to flight. Price: Domestic: ZMW 600 per 15 kg ; International from Zambia : USD 40 per 15kg and International from South Africa: ZAR 600 per 15 kg
PAY FOR EXTRA BAGGAGE AT THE AIRPORT
Once at the airport the following excess baggage fees apply: Domestic: ZMW 60 per kg; International from Zambia : USD5 per kg and International from South Africa : ZAR60 per kg. There is a maximum limit of 70kg of excess baggage allowed per seated passenger. |
