Taxes & Fuel Surcharges
A fuel levy is included in your ticket and is applied per passenger per sector. This is displayed on your ticket as a YR tax code.
Departure Tax (JI)
Domestic Departure Tax (JI) of KR42.00/K42,000.00 is dislayed as JI on your ticket and is included in your total ticket price, this is from Lusaka, Livingstone, Mfuwe and Ndola airports (NACL airports)
Domestic to domestic connections from a NACL Airport connecting through a NACL airport with a layover of 12 hours or less, are exempt from paying the airport taxes for the second sector.
A lesser fee is charged from other domestic airports.(non NACL airports)
Security Charge (QJ)
Security Charge (QJ) of KR16.00/K16,000.00 is displayed as QJ on your ticket and is included in your total ticket price. This is charged from all NACL airports and is applicable to all schedule and charter passengers. Infants are NOT exempt from this charge.

Passenger Access Fee (RA): Lower Zambezi - applicable to Royal Airstrip only
In effect from 29th March 2012 a passenger access fee is charged for all flights to and from Royal airstrip in the Lower Zambezi. The fee charged and included in your ticket is K75,000.00/KR75.00 per sector.
All passengers travelling on private charters from the 01st April 2012 will be required to pay this fee to the relevant lodge
