Book Online, Pay Online

Proflight Zambia accepts Visa & MasterCard (credit & debit cards) American Express, PayPal and a number of African mobile money systems for online sales. Our payment service provider, 3G DIRECT PAY uses the most advanced online security & fraud prevention systems and is PCI compliant. Online bookings may be made up to one hour before departure.

If you are booking from a computer with a Zambian IP address, the charges will go through to your credit/debit card as currency Zambian Kwacha. If from a South African IP address, the charges will go through as currency South African Rand. If from any other IP address, the charges will go through as currency United States Dollar. If your flight is departing within 5 days you must make immediate payment by one of the payment cards listed above.

If you are making a booking using a credit card and are not travelling please make contact us by e-mail 3gadmin@proflight-zambia.com to have your credit card details verified. Failure to do this may result in the travellers being denied boarding.

Book Now, Pay Later for Zambian Customers

If your flight date is in more 5 days then you pay make immediate payment or use the ‘Book Now-Pay Later' option. If you use the 'Pay Later' facility we’ll send you an e-mail with a Provisional Booking Confirmation and a time limit for payment. Any time before the Payment Deadline listed on the Provisional Booking Confirmation you must pay for your ticket using any of the following methods:

  • Use Modify My Booking on the home page, flyzambia.com to complete online payment using a credit card, debit card or PayPal
  • Pay by cash at any Proflight sales office in Zambia (ticketing fee will apply)
  • Pay by Bank Transfer

 

Customers with a Zambia bank account may now pay for flight tickets by bank transfer provided the booking is made online or directly with a Proflight sales office or Call Centre.

Step 1: For flights more than 5 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) book online and select ‘Book Now-Pay Later’ option or phone +260 (0) 211 252452/476; +260 (0) 977 33 55 63, e-mail reservations@proflight-zambia.com or Skype ProflightRes.

Step 2: Take special note of the amount due and the 6-character Booking Ref for your flight.

Step 3: If your fare is in Kwacha deposit payment to the Proflight ZMW account; if it’s in US dollars deposit the funds to the Proflight USD account below

Step 4: Scan the Proof of Payment from the bank and e-mailed it to reservations@proflight-zambia.com and finance@proflight-zambia.com. We’ll issue your e-ticket when the funds are in the Proflight account.

Step 5: If your e-ticket has not been received within 24 hours of having sent the Proof of Payment please contact reservations@proflight-zambia.com; you should also check your Spam folder.

It is important to include the Proflight booking reference and your contact phone number on the deposit slip. If the Proof of Payment is not received by email before the Ticketing Time Limit, the seats will automatically cancel. Proflight is not responsible for any delays in the transfer procedure and additional or consequential loss.

Credit Card Security

Understanding your Credit Card Statement

Proflight online payments are processed by Direct Pay Online a global e-commerce and online shopping services provider headquartered in Ireland. The company provides state of the art online facilities supporting real-time shopping and payments that in-corporate multi card, multi-currency, mobile money and PayPal services.

The company developed and operate an advanced web-based technology and includes real-time risk management facilities as part of its shopping and payments processes.

When you book online with Proflight or make payment by credit card with a travel agent in Zambia, UK or USA the transaction will be shown as 'DIRECT PAY'. If you have any questions please contact us on 3gadmin@proflight-zambia.com or reservations@proflight-zambia.com.

Security

To ensure the security of your credit card information when you book flights through Proflight Zambia, we use the latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL is currently the preferred method to securely transfer credit card and other sensitive data over the Internet. If your browser supports SSL, please select the Secure Mode option when confirming your booking and your credit card and other personal details will be protected by this technology. If you are restricted by the capabilities of your browser then you can use the non-secure mode, but we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of any browser to allow you peace of mind during any further transactions.

Direct Pay Online are fully compliant with a number of security compliance bodies with the latest being received a PCI DSS (Payment card industry date security standard) Level 1 security standard certificate. A full list of the security compliant bodies that Direct Pay Online conform to are available to view on their home website www.directpay.online.

If you are making a booking using a credit card and are not travelling please make contact with the airline to have your credit card details verified. Failure to do this may result in the traveller being denied boarding.

Credit Cards Issued in South Africa

Due to an increased level of fraud relating to credit cards issued in South Africa you will be required to enter your 3D secure password in order to complete your online booking.

3D Secure, better known as Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, is designed to ensure that the person placing an order online is the legitimate card holder rather than someone who may have stolen or cloned the card. If you have not already registered for 3D-secure you may enrol on-line at your banks website.
